It’s about 9 weeks until I go now, but I’m still finding it quite hard to get really excited about it. Once I get a host family I think it will help, hopefully that is sooner rather than later.

I’ve got orientation with AFS coming up which will be fun, although we’re just flying down for a single day – I guess this is good cause I would rather not have to worry about accomodation etc etc.

I have a feeling my Japanese won’t be so great when I arrive but it’s hard to know, anyway I gotta go but I’ll keep you posted.
